Heavy-duty specifications have changed

The 2024 ACEA Heavy-Duty Oil Sequences introduced F01-24. From 18 December 2025, the 2024 revision became mandatory for all new heavy-duty claims.

What this means: Companies selling into ACEA-led markets need current claim rules, supporting data and controlled product documentation.

Used-oil responsibility is increasing in India

CPCB guidance sets the used-oil recycling target at 20% for 2026–27, based on base oil or lubrication oil sold or imported in 2024–25.

What this means: India’s CPCB target is one example of a worldwide shift—producer-responsibility and used-oil rules are tightening across many markets. Sales records, registration, EPR planning and recycler coordination now belong on the same management agenda as product growth.

1. Feasibility confirmed

What is included in technology transfer?
Technology transfer can include the final BOM, approved raw-material specifications, charging sequence, process temperatures and times, in-process checks, batch sheet, finished-product limits, test plan and training for the receiving team or manufacturer.
How is the partnership priced?
Pricing is based on portfolio breadth, operating model, technical priorities, plant involvement and agreed visit cadence. The proposal defines the annual scope, governance rhythm and deliverables before work begins.
